Basic and Expert RPG Sets Remastered!

The Final Stretch!!

Here we go! The final days!! Thank you all so much for your continued support  on this project. It really means a lot to us. To hit our final stretch goal, please share this project! Read the list below to see an update on that stretch goal! We want as many people rocking an old school game system as possible. Since we're going into the final stretch, I wanted to dedicate this post for some reminders/updates. Here is a list:

1. The Cleric level will include a box. It will contain all of the same contents as "The Thief" level plus 4 extra Player's Guides.

2. Stretch goal #7 is unlocked! We will add in a random dungeon generator into the back of the Dungeon Guide!

3. We are so close to stretch goal #8 which unlocks a solo module as an add-on. We are taking this a step further and adding in not 1 but 3 solo modules at $13,000 raised as add-ons.

4. All shipping will be calculated and charged via Backerkit. This survey will go out 2-3 weeks after the campaign concludes. This is also where you will purchase add-ons. 

5. Stretch goal #8 will be the final stretch goal. We are very happy with where this will most likely end. :)

6. Do not forget to alter your pledge level if you wish to. You will be unable to do so once the campaign ends.

That sums it up for now. As the next couple days progress, we will be keeping you in the loop of everything that goes on for our side. Thank you all again. This would not be possible without you.

Solo Module Stretch Goal Unlocked!!

We did it! Our solo module stretch goal has been unlocked. That means three solo modules will be released as add-ons. These are true solo modules that require one player. They read like a pick-your-own-path adventure but as an RPG! Let’s keep rolling forward!

The Random Dungeon

Looks like we hit another stretch goal thanks to all of you fantastic backers! Therefore, we are adding a random dungeon generator into the Dungeon Guide complete with charts to create room contents, descriptions, monsters, treasures, traps, and magic items. We are even going to toss in a complete map that can handle about 60 encounter areas! Again, our sincere and appreciative thanks for backing this project. It’s all about the BX and we are more than excited to bring you these books! We will post another update tonight with more sample pages.

Modules, Modules, Modules

We have been asked about adventure modules more than anything else, so here is an update to get us all on the same page. Right now, there are three modules included with the various pledge levels. Below is a list of the stretch bonus modules based on pledge level.

$15 Pledge Level (PDF package): PDF of BX1 Felhorde

$20 Pledge Level (DM Guide): PDF of BX1 Felhorde

$35 Pledge Level: Print and digital copy of BX1 Felhorde: The Screaming Temple

$60 Pledge Level (Boxed Set): Print and digital copies of BX1 Felhorde: The Screaming Temple, BX2 The Haunted Tower, and BX3 The Temple of Mercy

$100 Pledge Level: Same as boxed set

Retailer Pledge Levels: Same as boxed set

We are also making three solo modules available as add-ons: BX6 Grave of the Green Flame, BX7 Beyond the Black Wall, and BX8 Ruins of the Red Moon. These modules will be $10 each as an add-on for Print and $5 for PDF. (print orders also receive the PDF). The print price reflects a $4 discount off the regular retail price.

The Monk

We promised the Monk class (for humans) and he is now set to be included in the Player's Handbook. I have attached a preliminary page - we are still working on some abilities and details. 

More updates to come including some solo module add-ons.
